Diamond League

Alberta Basketball and The EYBA Centre are proud to announce the return of the 15U and 18U Canada Basketball Academy and Diamond High Performance League program.

This year the program is open to all club and community athletes. We are looking for the top 60 Male and Female athletes in both 15U and 18U categories. This partnership will provide an enhanced basketball development opportunity for those boys and girls seeking refined competitive training. Athletes selected for this program will be encouraged to register for the 2023 Canadian Western Identification Camp being held November 10^th and 11^th.

Diamond League is led by some of Edmonton and area’s top university, club and provincial team coaches.

This year the Canadian Basketball Network (CBN) will be sharing standings and training progress through all their social media outlets. All games will be officiated by licensed EBOA officials.

15U Boys

September 10 - Tryout
- Session 1: 9:00AM-11:00 (All registered athletes)
- Session 2: 12:00PM-1:30PM (Invited Athletes from Session 1)
Nine 90-minute CB Academy training sessions focusing on fundamental skill development and decision-making training followed by a 60-minute Game.

15U Girls

September 17 - Tryout
- Session 1: 9:00AM-11:00 (All registered athletes)
- Session 2: 12:00PM-1:30PM (Invited Athletes from Session 1)
Nine 90-minute CB Academy training sessions focusing on fundamental skill development and decision-making training followed by a 60-minute Game.

18U Boys

Total Registration Cost (Full payment required to attend tryouts):

15U - $495.00 - includes $25 tryout fee
18U - $395.00 - includes $25 tryout fee
- Registration Fees include GEAR (Jersey, Hoodie and Shooting Shirt)

Refund Policy:

Any athlete not selected for the program will receive a full refund less the $25 tryout fee and any applicable credit card fees.
Any selected 18U athlete that withdraws prior to September 3rd, 2023 will receive a refund less $125 (administration fee and tryout fee) and any applicable credit card fees.
Any selected 15U athlete that withdraws prior to September 20th, 2023 will receive a refund less $155 (administration fee and tryout fee) and any applicable credit card fees.
Any selected athlete who withdraws after the deadlines mentioned above is not eligible for a refund.
